Merry Christmas!

A ray of Hope,
A light of Life,
A child was born,
His name is Jesus.
He came to us to bring us life,
to bring us out from the darkness,
in Him, He holds the fullness of Love,
which guide us to His perfect Light!
O child of wonder,
O child of light,
Wonderful counselor,
Mighty God,
Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace,
His name is above all names,
Jesus Christ, the son of God,
Immanuel( God with us) till the end of time....
Blessed Christmas!!

God is with me....

Bro was not around for the past few days, he went to Penang to work. So left me alone at home. It was good though coz i can concentrate more in my CVS which is a killing system! However, the feeling of insecure lied in me when the night approached! All sort of nonsense started to conquer my mind..eg: Thieves breaking into my apartment in the middle of the night( coz a lot of such cases occuring in vista eventhough staying 16 floor up)..But i try to calm myself down and get into bed early. But smth weird happened last saturday and i was traumatised....

B4 my bro left, he told me he'll be back only on Sunday. So as a girl who yearns for comfort, i decided to sleep in my bro's room which has a Queen size bed and IKEA, high quality comforter..Muahaha. Anyway, as i was closing my eyes to sleep that night, i heard a splashing of water sound from the bathroom. So i jumped out from my bed and checked it out. Nope, nth was insight! Ok,muz be the neighbours! Coz VK wall is not that thick. 2nd round, i heard the swithching on sound of the light and again the splashing of water. So i thought this must be my dear brother who came back earlier and wanted to bath. As i was going to get up to give him back his bed, i realised my whole body was stuck to the bed. I couldn't move at all, as though i was glued to the bed! I tried to shout, but not a word was uttered. I felt my tongue was twisted and there was something pressing hard on me. At this moment, the first thought that came across my mind was the evil spirit. So, i prayed for help from God and cast the evil spirit away in God's holy name. The only person i can rely on in that very second is only God. And it really worked! After a few minutes, i gained back my mobility but i dare not walked out of the room, i remained on the bed and forced myself to sleep ...It might sound insane but i am pretty sure i'm conscious n NOT dreaming!!Until now i cant figure out wat was that pressing on me that night......or is it because i'm too stressfull recently?? I hav no idea....But one thing i'm sure, my bro didn't come back that night!!

Fun fun fuN!!

Visited Clinic Cheras Baru again this morning. It's our 2nd visit there, so managed interview some patients. All of us not really in the mood to take the history of the patients though. Just felt tired and hate waking up early(6.45am!!). And lectures have been changed to 4.15pm, which is the best time to hav nap! So, we spent most of the time chatting among ourselves in the clinic! However, we transormed totally during the post visit! When the clock striked 12pm, we became so energized and rushed to eat Sree's favourite wan tan mee in Cheras! Dun think it's just a normal plate of wan tan mee, it's NOT..NOno!! The char siew was yummy! Sweet at the outside and soft in the inside! The texture was perfect! Shud give a try if u're a wan tan mee lover! Guarantee will make u wan more! The address is as below:

1, Jalan Kaskas2,Taman Cheras,
56100 KL.
Open at 7.30am ~ 3.30pm
Each plate is only RM3.50....Worth it ppl!

For our previous visit, we had the best Lam Mee in Cheras and it was really special. It was different from wat i have tried previously. The gravy was thick, the mee was home made, and the taste was....One word: Heavenly! *sowee, no pic* Most importantly, portion is big with prawns + meat+ fish balls and it only cost u RM4.00 ! Cheapo ne!!Thanks to Sree for making an effort to bring us to all the good food in Cheras. Without u, we wud never had enjoy our clinical visit..:P

After today's clinical visit, went for cell group and then follwed by lectures till 7pm. Huh, it's super tiring, i kno. But that's not the END of the day! I later joined the group for carolling! Walking from houses to houses(vista B to C and to B then to C again!!) to sing Xmas songs! We were sweating, panting, tired but still we enjoyed every moment, pouring God's blessing upon their family and friends. We visited Dr Rajesh Sharma's, Dr Achike, Dr JPJ, Dr Joe Perara's and finally Sem 3 Jackie's place with all the Sem 3 ppl . The climax of the day was when we visited Dr Joe Perera's apartment and required him to dance with his wife again. (After their wonderful performace on Friday Night!) And indeed, both of them dance for us!!!It was really fun and i'm looking forward to the next carolling which is next Tuesday! :]

At Joe Perera's apartment!

Merry Christmas M106!

Touching MVs!

Part I

Part II

This is a very sad love story. Do watch the first and second parts so that you can capture the whole story....
A little bit of translation here. It's not the exact one though....sorry!:(

The girl was kidnapped because she is the policeman's girlfriend. The gang wanted to make use of her to force the policeman to stop persecuting the gang leader but he didn't care about his girlfriend. He even cheated on her after he got beaten up.

The gang later got pissed off when the policeman didn't help the gang leader. So they decided to blow the girl up in the public as a revenge to the policaman. Later on the kidnapper came and tried to save her, but he was shot instead being thought as the bad guy coz he was struggling with the girl. The girl felt sad and decided to press the button to blow the bomb and they both died together....*sob sob*
A biggie thanks to my dear sista, Adelene who recommended me to watch these MVs..Just wanna share them with you guys. DUN stress yourselves up with CVS my dear Dr2Bs, watch some MVs to relax ya! I'm fed up with CVS also la...but forget bout it, we shall study harder during our 1 week Xmas break!*Hopefully this time the study plan will work!Wish me luck!Fingers cross*

The Journey begins...

-It's THE group-
PBL sessions were never as interesting as the one i'm having now! THE group is juz a perfect combination of THE happening people in M106. THE substances here are SREE, JEREMY, THOMAS, XIN LOONG, SHIN ANN, CARYN, HUI YEN, PHING PHING & EUGENE. The hospital and clinic visits were so much fun with these people around! But the best part is the faci we had previously--> Dr Shaila Sharma, is an easy going person who can joke with us and shower us with love and care!Every PBL sessions is like a mamak gathering for us. We blend in well and crap about everything under the sun. Our faci has to pull us back, or else the PBL will last for hours because our faci will sometimes join us! i still remember once when she was trying to explain some theory while we were distributing chocolates quietly. Suddenly she stopped and asked "Eh, where is my chocolates?i want one!" All of us burst into laughter! Then ar, when you're sick, she will make an effort to call you to ask about ur condition. Though it's just a small deed, it shows her concern for us... She is like our 'mommy' who can listen to our complaints.Oh, how nice she is! Missing her badly d!
So the last PBL session with her, we bought a Chocolate Banana from Secret Recipe for her as a token of appreciation..Yummy! :) To be honest, she is one of the best faci we could have......

Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed(AWANA)..

The meeting this afternoon was the the last meeting for AWANA kids club for this year. The children were given their graduation awards, redemption gifts from the points they have collected throughout the years and leaders too were given awards. I have involved in this ministry for only 1 year+ since i joined the church. Seeing the kids grow stronger spiritually with God has really encouraged me more to serve him. I remember my leader saying that the small seed we planted in this children heart will eventually grow when they become older. So the best time to share the gospel is when they are still young. :)

My T&T Class(We decorated photo frames)

I got the Most Caring Leader......*Wink*

*Sushi(after taking this pic, the waitress told me i was not allowed to take any pic..T_T, so this is the only shot i got......)

After the meeting, all the leaders were invited to Shogun Japanese Buffet Restaurant in One U for an appreciation dinner. As a japanese food lover, i actually starved and skipped my lunch so that i can eat more then...*the greedy monster of me*...Honestly, the food was not really delicious. Although the food varies from sushi, shashimi, soba, tempura, teppanyaki, miso soup to cheese cakes, they taste soso only. Not recommended at all!! Maybe it's because of the mass production to supply the loads of customers! The best food i can find is Edaname( stimmed green beans). It might sounds stupid but honestly it was really reaaly good...Give a try a possible. I think i went 5 rounds to get them! Even my pastor thought i was on diet! Anyway, we had a great fellowship among all the leaders, sharing the times we had in AWANA previously. There were happy and bitter times, but God is faithful. He guided us through it all... *_*

Katherine + m3

She is my partner in the kids club. Honestly, i'm really grateful to have her because her big heart to serve in this ministry is imcomparable. She is very patient with the children, talked to them nicely and shared all she has with them. She is very creative as well, making the children to make lots of handcrafts so that they can remember what they have studied earlier in the lesson. She even spent her own money to buy gifts for the children. For instance, bibles, photo frames and story books. I really learned a lot from her. With her guidance and kindness, i grown stronger spiritually. Her passion and enthusiasm in teaching the children is really a living model of Christ!

My nursing week..

I believed more than half of M106 students will say their nursing week was bored, given cold shoulders by the nurses, most of the patients were reluctant to talk and yadda yadda. But as for my group, i think it was really a fruitful experience. We were the noisiest group i could say, with Sree, Jeremy, Shin Ann, Caryn, Phing Phing, Xin Long and the talkative Me around. Even my sister was asking us to keep our voice low..Haha! But Sister Saedah was a great sister who was so willing to teach us patiently, brought us to every nook and corner of the hospital and shared her very own experiences after serving the public for more than 10 years.

The ward we were assigned to was a female ortho ward with mostly old women and a small part of paeditric. We were really lucky to be there because as u all know, old people can talk non-stop and they love to share their feelings. So you wont feel bored even you have nothing to do because i think listening to the patients is the best thing we can do currently due to the limited knowledge we learned throughout our 2 semesters. Of coz at the beginning we were shy to approach them coz they looked really sick and just wanted some rest, but we thickened our face and started a conversation with them. They just pour out their hearts once you showed some interest to their lives. The best part was when the patients realised Sree can speak Mandarin. Shocking but interesting!

I met a 90+ years old woman who fell when she was bathing. She fractured her right leg and right arm, so when i helped her with her drinks and food, she held my hands and i can hear her weak spoken voice keep on saying thank you thank you. Slowly you can see her tears trembling down. When i see that, i was really touched, it was just a small thing i did and she really appreciated it. This is the satisfaction i meant when you're in medical field. The only thing you hope is to see them recover and not lying there, immobilised.

So, when we were about time to leave, we bid goodbye to all the patients we met in the ward. It was hard though because for only 2 days, we have actually built a relationship with them. As for me, this exposure has indeed encouraged me more of becoming a passionate dr. I know it's not easy to pass through the exams but i will just give my best. If really can't make it maybe a nurse will do (at least). :)

Bolehkah Kristian Berbuah??

Yesus cintaku, ku cintakau, kau cinta dia,
Yesus cintaku, ku cintakau, kau cinta dia.

A Firman Tuhan kekal selamanya.

Med school has no life lar...If i feel like relaxing for just an hour, that very night i'll feel very guilty for wasting time like that because my parents are paying my fees with their hearts and souls, how can i let them down? SOS....help!

i'm dead sick!!Fever, flu, cough!!But that's not about it, the rashes all over my body is killing me!!!!They are super duper ITCHY!!!I have been suffering from this weird looking rashes for 3 weeks, It's neither measles, nor chicken pox..It's just red spots!I look like a Pink dalmation!!Doctor said it's allergy, but the problem is i dunno wat i'm allergy to...Shampoo?Soap?Body lotion?Food? After i got this rashes, i changed all!But it is not working! What if it's the water in vista that i'm allergy to like wat Aunt See said? Then i wud have to move to another place......which is IMPOSSIBLE!

I still remember when i first got this rash. It appeared at 7pm sharp. Then it will disappear around 10pm.It's not itchy and it didn't cause me any fever. So i din't bother much, Sue Ann said i'm allergy to the time...huh, is that possible?I dunno.

However things get worst this few days, fever attacked me on and off, rashes appear whole day and itchy. So i applied some Calamine lotion on my hands and legs.(my hands and legs look whitish after applying the lotion). As i was sitting at the bus station infront of Carefour(Subang)waiting for my brother to fetch me back from church today, a girl wanted to sit beside me at the bench, but when she saw my condition, she walked away, thinking my skin problem is infectious..but i dun blame her, it's a normal reaction. I believed if it was me, i will do the same thing. However, it struck me deeply because i realised this is how those sick people with skin problems are neglected always when the public sees them. Remember, they didn't asked to be borned like that, they are just the unfortunate ones.....I need to put this in my mind!

Dun worry....

CF had a BGR talk yesterday. Indeed sister Shirley from AYA gave a clear explanation bout it..What we should do and what we should not.

I'm sure in every girl's heart there is a Mr RIGHT. The prince charming must be tall, good looking, loves God, rich, smart, intellectual, romantic, good manner and so on! Girls dream of marrying the perfect guy and have a romantic wedding. Then they will live happily ever after...just like the fairy tale stories and drama we watched. Of coz i do dream about my Mr right too. But if we look into the problem seriously, it's not easy to find Mr Perfect who is flawless and meet all the criteria we wan!

However, it is possible through Christ! God knows the desire in everybody's heart...What type of guy u prefer, the look, the behaviour. The only thing you have to do is ASK for those who ask shall be given. So think BIG and share with HIM, He'll give you His best because He loves us so much!Being single is no sad thing, it doen't mean you are not good or not wanted, it's just not the right time!Never settle on the 2nd best because everybody deserves the best! Dun jump into a relationship harshly just because you're desperate when people around u hav bf and you dun hav, it's not worth it..Waste of time n $$$(phone calls + Sms). Pray about it and i'm sure God will provide us with a perfect life partner. Eventhough He has not, fear not because we are already overwhelmed with LOVE from our heavenly Father. Shirley said, the partner is to enhance your life only.

After the talk, i realised that we are worrying too much. Worrying will i get marry, will i find a Christ like partner etc. It's not necessary and it's burdening. Just submit all the burdens unto Him. i reminded myself: My future is under His control. Eventhough i have to stay single throughout my life, i have no complain because the Love He gives me is so much until i cant contain it...Thank you my God!

The souvenier given after the talk

At the beginning of the talk, we were asked to give a short explanation bout the souvenier in related to the talk(BGR).

Sue Chuen: It looks like a male symbol....which is the source of every girl's heart break! !!

Actual meaning: The clip has 2 flaps which represent a boy and a girl. The clip will only work with the presence of spring in the middle which represent God.....

wasSup Doc : When a boy and a girl are Walking faithfully towards God, they are actually walking closer together.....He has made everything beautiful in its time.

Be grateful!

Visited Sungai Buloh Orang Asli village with church members this morning. It was not my first visit there, so i was kind of prepared to explore the place again. The place was far away from the hustle and bustle city. NO electricity, NO proper water supply, NO nice clothings, NO TV, NO stove, NO concrite houses, NO bed, deprived from government's help and yadda yadda. They are poor, backwards and dun take any health care practices to protect themselves from diseases. The river is their bathroom, the jungle is their playground, and the animals are their best friends.

This time around, we brought some city children(AWANA kids club children) to visit the place. They sang praises together with the orang asli children, performed a drama based on the book of Joshua and did a puppet show about the Wordless Book. We even taught them Alphabets and numbers. It was indeed an eye opener for the children from the city because they wont experience such a difficult life back in their homes. They learned to treasure what they have. No doubt, orang asli lead a very simple life without high expectations or craving for things. All they want is just food that can free them from starvation. However, we should not discriminate them, they are also God's sons and daughters.......

wasSup Doc : Appreciate what you have for you never know there are people who is less fortunate than we are at a corner of the world.....

p/s: those who want to donate their old clothes, slippers, cutlery(fork and spoon, pots and pans)
PLEASE PLEASE contact me....THEY NEED THEM!!!Thanks..*_*
