Off i Go!!

Time really flies...After 1 week of dull holiday in Vista, the long awaited day has finally come.
Hmmm...2 weeks port volunteer in MV Doulos should be fun and interesting. It is a once in a lifetime experience,of cause i need to learn as much as i can and meet people of all walks of life within this 2 weeks time!

I'm embarking this afternoon,so my dear mates:Please wish me luck..I have no idea what to expect from this trip. Will I be washing the toilets everyday? Will I be cooking in the kitchen for the crews? Will I be arranged to go out and talked bout the gospel?Questions keep popping out but the only thing i can do now is just wait for the time table and pray hard!

Ok for now,i'm embarking to another level of my life! So,you all won't be seeing me for 2 weeks.I'll report each and every detail once I return from my "Journey to the West"..haha!
Bon voyage!!!

P/s:Do make an effort to visit MV DOULOS because according to my interviewer,Doulos is unlikely to visit Port Klang again....*sob sob*

-MV Doulos @ Port Klang-

The most exciting night(Youth International Night) organised by MV Doulos has finally arrived, Heritage Centre of PJEFC was crowded with youths of Malaysia since 7pm ! Undoubedly the events were superb, performed by the Doulos crews which consists of nations from 45 different countries. The environment was first warmed up by the special guest band-Altered Frequency, singing praises to God and dancing with joy.....Then, followed by a string of music, multimedia, drama and dance performances. They also shared about the real lives testimonies from the crews onboard. The following are photos captured during their performance but so sorry for the poor quality of the pictures...:(

=The Big Swing+Dance=Awesome

-Choir singing verses from book of Matthew 28:18-20-

Then this morning(15th July) i accompanied the Awana kids club to visit the 92 years old ship.Indeed the book shop on the ship was big with various variety of books. Since early, the place was packed like sardines, we can hardly move there.(Little advice: Don't visit the ship on weekends and the book store was hot and humid,it is not air conditioned).
In short the ship is old but still the condition was still good, all because of God's grace and the willingness of the crews to maintain it.AMEN

=My T & T class + Leader Katherine=

-Kids of CDPC are so ready for the Kids' Programme onboard-

Overall, the visit to Doulos was an eye opener for me-->seeing people of all nations serving Gor faithfully without any material reward but deep inside they know God has rewarded abundantly spiritually(this is what we actually need)

watsSup Doc:Today is so full of good things to see, that tomorrow can just wait for me...

-Judgement Day-

The 'judgement day' (13th of July)has finally arrived.....Days living in fear were neither comfortable nor happy. But before we face the music at 5pm,my gang has decided to watch 'Pirates of Caribbean II' which was released TODAY itself. Of course no objections from the gang cause we have been looking forward for this movie for quite some time. And sure enough, the return of Kapten Jack Sparrow never let us down....The role played by Johnny Depp was still superb and funny. In short-->NICE! Everything was perfect and can't wait to watch the 3rd part...haha! It is a 5 Stars movie, so it's a MUST watch movie!

After the movie, all of us were starving. Before we headed to the restaurant, as usual the Naboobians will have a 'confereance' to decide which restaurant to go.....Food juction?Teppanyaki?Pizza Hut?the Golden arch(McD)? and the list goes on....Our stomach were roaring but still we can't made up our mind where to go...haih!(it's very normal acctually). After half and hour of discussion and debate,we went Nando's instead.A surprise belated party was celebrated for our dear XAN(p/s:her birthday was actually 6th of July),the workers and customers actually gave full cooperation by singing the world known 'birthday song' for her.Xan,hope you had a great time!

Ok now, back to the depressed feelings of getting back our EOS results.
Huh, the miserable days for semester 1 medical students has indeed come to an end...there are happy and sad faces around... as for my group, we're more than satisfied. Finally the hard work has been paid off!-->Pei can go Hong Kong happily,Aditya can go back Kenya to meet his dad, Denise can go for her floral arrangement, Geoffrey can go scuba diving, Hwei Wan can visit her sis in UK without worries, Xan can go for yoga,Shan can go back JB and me?Stay in Vista doing NOTHING!!!:(

watssup Doc:Continuous hard work will definitely bear fruits,so give your best whenever u can
-Try your best and God will do the rest-
